College Counseling

College counseling services at Geneva are designed to help students and parents make informed, mature decisions regarding course selections, work load and college applications.

Shelly Ward, Geneva College Counselor pictured at right, is available to meet with students and parents.  She can be reached by email at Shelly considers it a pleasure to help each student navigate the college admissions process.

During the junior year, Shelly leads students through the program titled “How To Pick A College Major” developed by Becky Preble.  The program takes students through a no-nonsense approach to identify which college major best matches their interests, natural talents and values.  The program includes an extended conversation between Becky Preble and each student and parent.
