Fifth Graders Advance to Logic School

Grammar School Headmaster Jessica Gombert adds a pin to the lapel of fifth grade student Chloe Donnell as she congratulates her on the completion of her Geneva Grammar School years during the recent Fifth Grade Advancement Ceremony.

Geneva School held its annual Fifth Grade Advancement Ceremony in May.  This year, 57 fifth graders were recognized for their completion of Grammar School and were officially welcomed into Logic School. This has become a beloved tradition in which parents give their child a Logic School navy blazer and Grammar School Headmaster Jessica Gombert adds a pin to each student’s lapel. This pin signifies each piece of the classical triviumGrammar, Logic and Rhetoric—which represent each phase of a student’s education at Geneva School of Boerne.

Logic School Headmaster Jeff Jones welcomed the students to the next step of their Geneva education and pointed to how the firm foundation the students received in Grammar School will serve them well throughout their Logic School years in sixth, seventh and eighth grades.
