The Geneva varsity basketball teams hosted Hoops for Heartland for the sixth straight year to benefit Heartland Children’s Home in Boerne. Geneva senior Eric Drees planned this event and reported that more than $3,700 was raised to help Heartland in its mission to foster, love and care for medically fragile children who suffer from complications of shaken baby syndrome, prenatal drug exposure, HIV and AIDS, and other diseases and disabilities.

The Eagles welcomed and honored Heartland Children’s Home business office manager Dawn Terrazas between the varsity games. For more information on how to donate to Heartland Children’s Home, please contact Heartland at 830-537-4078.
