Logic and Rhetoric Students Earn School’s Highest Honor

Geneva School recognizes the most outstanding high school students each year at the school’s Closing Assembly. The Aquila Award recognizes the male and female student who best represent the goals and ideals of Geneva School. Seniors Ruth Wacker and Will Langenbahn were selected by the Rhetoric School faculty and given the esteemed Aquila Award (“Aquila” is Latin for “eagle”).

An eagle statuette was given to these students and their names are recorded on perpetual plaques in the administration building. The Aquila Award is the Rhetoric School’s highest honor. Ruth and Will also received the Eagle Award as the most outstanding eighth grade students four years ago.

Geneva School also recognizes the most outstanding Logic School students with the Eagle Award. Eighth-grade students Micah Howard and Grant Mowery were selected by the Logic School faculty and given the esteemed 2018 Eagle Award at the school’s Closing Assembly. An eagle statuette was given to these students and their names are recorded on a perpetual plaque in the administration building.
