Senior Spotlight

What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
The most influential book I have read was the Silence. Seeing how people fight for their faith and a re willing to die in the most horrific ways like the pit, really shows how strong Christianity is and inspired me to grow stronger in my faith.

What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
It was when Mrs. Greenlees fell over the hay bale.

What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
I will miss my sports teams and coaches. We have all grown so close over the years. I will also miss the house system.

Who has influenced you most while at Geneva? How?
Mrs. Greenlees has influenced me the most. She is always so happy. Every time I walked in the class she asked how my day was going and how my team played in the game the night before. I love all her stories she reads before class starts and she always knew when one of her students was having a bad day. It felt like she truly got top know each and every one of her students.

What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
Being a Geneva student means having the craziest costume for dress up days, being the loudest in the student section, getting to genuinely know your teachers, and grow stronger as a christian.

How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere in school?
Cherish every good moment and do not hold on to the bad moments. Stay true to yourself because friends will come and go. All the teachers are there to help you if you let them. You got this.

What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
The atmosphere. I hope the student section goes crazy for every touchdown even if we are loosing by a lot and the houses continue to be wild at induction day. The love for Lord of the Rings never goes away. I hope that EVERYONE goes all out during spirit week.
