What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?

Mere Christianity is the most influential book I have read because it helped me understand the extent of my faith and strengthened my beliefs and values.

What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?

December of freshmen year there was a competition between choir and band for the best decorated room. I remember walking into class and the room looked like Christmas exploded everywhere. We won and that was when I realized the intense, competitive nature of Mr. Vis.

What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?

I will miss my friends the most at Geneva because they hold a special place in my heart and not being able to see them every day will be hard.

Who has influenced you most while at Geneva, How?

Mr. Arizpe has influenced me the most because he pushed me out of my comfort zone and instilled valuable lessons that I will hold onto through the next steps of my journey.

What does being a Geneva student mean to you?

A Geneva student is a critical thinker, servant, and follower of Christ. Learning to approach a dilemma logically and persuasively, obey and value the Christian faith, and be an example of Christ for others is what being a Geneva student really means.

How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere in school?

I would encourage a Kindergartener to never give up, do not admit defeat before you even tried to overcome. If you cannot go through a door there is always a window.

What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
I hope the atmosphere never changes at Geneva. Being able to be involved in so many activities and having close relationships with friends and faculty makes Geneva unique.
