As part of the application process, all students are required to be tested. Testing varies based on the grade level.

Grades KP-4

Students applying to grades KP-4 in Round 1 will be scheduled for grade level evaluations on January 20, 2024. The Admissions Office will contact the applicant family to schedule a specific testing time once the application is complete.

In Rounds 2 and 3, the Admissions Office will contact the applicant family to schedule on-site testing once the application is complete.

Grades 5 and above

Students applying for fifth grade and above must take the Independent School Entrance Examination. The test can be taken at either Geneva, Prometrics, online, or at another school that hosts the test. Details about the ISEE (i.e. fee, sample questions, test site locations, etc.) can be found here. Our school’s code is 447583This code is needed for the registration form. The ISEE results must be provided to Geneva School before an application is considered complete and ready for review.

Geneva is a “closed” test site, meaning only applicants applying to Geneva are allowed to test at our school. If you wish to have your student take the test at Geneva, you will need to contact the Admissions Office to get an Invitation Code for the date (each code is unique to the date) you wish to test. Please register online a minimum of three weeks before the scheduled test date or a late fee will apply. Depending on the number of students pre-registered, there may be availability for the student to “Walk In” the day of the test for an additional fee.

On-Site testing dates for 2023-2024 school year are listed below.
