Senior Spotlight

What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
Dave Ramsey’s Complete Guide to Money has been very beneficial for managing my financial life. I have not been perfect at adhering to the ideas presented in the book, but it still gave me a framework to go off.

What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
My favorite moment at Geneva was probably either performing at the talent show or working on a cinema project called “Painsgiving.”

What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
I will miss the friends, teachers, and the tightly knit community.

Who has influenced you most while at Geneva? How?
Mr. Poole’s sophomore humanities opened me up to a whole fictional/fantasy world I would have never considered which led me to be more creative in my other interests like music and 3d animation/visual effects.

What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
Being a Geneva student means striving to achieve the most possible in the best capacity that I can with my limited time here.

How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere in school?
Try new things. Explore new interests. I have probably had over ten different hobbies or obsessions in the last ten years. You will be much happier in life if you actually put yourself out there to dive into new pastimes. Who knows, it could lead you to your dream career.

What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
I hope Geneva never loses its teachers that are serious about the education they deliver but clearly have a good time doing so.
