ADMINISTRATION
2022-23 School Nurse
Summary: The School Nurse serves to promote, support and maintain the health, wellness and safety of students and faculty/staff by providing emergency medical and preventive health services, identifying problems and disabilities, providing services including referring and care in order to help prevent serious health problems and by complying with laws relating to student health.
Work Schedule: This is an academic year position (10 month). In general, the workday is 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. However, this is an exempt position and the employee is expected to work beyond the workday to perform duties outlined in the job description and as assigned. There is a mandatory administrative staff meeting once a week.
This position may be eligible for a job-share arrangement.

BUSINESS OFFICE
2022-23 Staff Accountant, Receivables
Summary: The purpose of this position is to process accounts receivable and to support the School’s fiscal function such that the School has the financial resources to achieve its mission.
This will include processing deposits, entering and maintaining accurate records for donations and fees, setting up and reconciling tuition payment plans, and contacting customers regarding delinquent tuition and fees. The Staff Accountant will assist the Accounting Director with month-end close, year-end reporting, and biennial audit, as necessary. Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned by the Accounting Director.
This position works in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, and other local, state and federal regulatory and advisory organizations, as well as in accordance with financial and business management techniques and practices of other independent schools.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time, year-round exempt position. In general, the workday is 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., five days a week. During the summer months, the workday may be reduced to 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday as the workload allows.

Essential Requirements

- Three (3) years of experience following GAAP-based accounting principles
- Previous work experience in multi-tasking positions including handling administrative, operational and accounting-oriented duties and responsibilities

FINE ARTS (GRADES 6-12)
Theatre Arts Instructor, Grades 6-12
The Theatre Arts Instructor prepares students to proclaim with excellence God’s truth, knowledge, and wisdom through dramatic presentations. This includes providing instruction to two distinct student groups: Logic School (6th through 8th grades) and Rhetoric School (9th through 12th grades).
Work Schedule: This is an exempt full-time, academic year position. The typical workday schedule is 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Preparations for Fall Musical, Spring Play, and One Act Play competitions will occur outside of this schedule and will require considerable time commitments and some potential travel. Faculty meetings are also required.
Essential Requirements: A disciple of Jesus Christ; full and unreserved supporter of the School’s Statement of Faith; a bachelor’s degree and three years of experience working with teenagers; proficiency in drama theory and criticism; experience in public speaking and presentation; adeptness with stage management, set design and construction, lighting and audio.
Preferred Experience: Bachelor’s degree in theatre arts; five years teaching drama in a school setting; State of Texas certification in drama; knowledge of and experience with the philosophy of classical Christian education.

2022-23 Rhetoric School Instructor – 9th Grade Biology and Science Elective
The Rhetoric School Science Teacher will provide classroom and laboratory instruction in 9th Grade Biology and a science elective to students using classical methods and a Biblical worldview in order to prepare students to pursue God’s truth, knowledge, and wisdom and to do so with excellence, diligence, and perseverance.
Essential Requirements: A disciple of Jesus Christ; full and unreserved supporter of the School’s Statement of Faith; Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field; three years teaching experience; some experience teaching using classical education pedagogy; mentor comfortable discipling high school students.
Preferred Requirements: Five years teaching experience, ideally, in high school biology; certification in Biology or High School Science; experience with the philosophy of classical Christian education.

We are looking for Christ-centered, experienced and passionate people to coach our kids here at Geneva. We want those who are on our staff to hold our athletes accountable, make them do hard things and to face the fear of failure and success with confidence. Most importantly, we are dedicated to helping our students know Christ and strive to make Him known through Athletics.

Each of these positions will both work under the supervision of the Athletic Director, Assistant Athletic Director and/or Program Director. Key objectives will be to work in conjunction with leadership to develop, teach and train athletes in the techniques and strategies of the sports specified. The coaches are required to attend all practices and meets, acting as a full member of the coaching staff. This includes emphasizing and encouraging a balanced approach to faith, family, academics and sports; providing training and coaching to enable students to perform with excellence and self-discipline for future Kingdom service; and supporting an athletic culture that demands honor and respect while representing the cause of Christ well in all its activities.
Work Schedule:
These are part-time, exempt seasonal positions which will be paid on a temporary stipend basis. None of these positions are eligible for group life, health or retirement benefits through the School. The exact daily work schedule is driven by practice times and team events. Travel to athletic events off campus is required.
Essential Requirements:
