College counseling services at Geneva are designed to help students and parents make informed, mature decisions regarding course selections, work load and college applications.
Geneva College Counselor Shelly Ward is available to meet with students and parents. She can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Shelly considers it a privilege to help students navigate the college admissions process and to discover the gifts and abilities God has given them. She walks students and their parents through this process to discover which university might help to bring out the best in them.
During the junior year, Shelly leads students through the program titled “How to Pick a College Major” which was developed by Becky Preble. The program takes students through a no-nonsense approach to identify which college major best matches their interests, natural talents and values. The program includes an extended conversation between Becky Preble and each student and parent.
