What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
The most influential book I have ever read is probably the Percy Jackson book series by Rick Riordan. These books are what inspired me to be creative and fall in love with storytelling and eventually film.

What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
In Mr. Troyer’s class in seventh grade I tried to take off my sweatshirt, but my shirt got caught onto it. I tried to fix it but it ended up tangling it even worse so then Mr. Troyer excuses me to leave and fix it so I had to walk out of class shirtless.

What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
I will miss the school spirit and house spirit every student at Geneva has.

Who has influenced you most while at Geneva, How?
I think the person that has inspired me the most while I have been at Geneva would have to be Mr. Shelton. His ability to get his work done in an effective manner and earn respect from students while still being able to be lighthearted and fun is something I strive to emulate.

What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
It means that you are someone who takes their schooling seriously. Someone who puts Christ first in everything they do and has love for their school and it’s culture.

How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere?
I would tell them to never let the work overwhelm them but just do what you can and do your best not to fall behind. The work load can seem like a lot but as long as you stay ahead and never fall behind it won’t ever be more than you can handle.

What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
I hope the love and pride the students have for their school never changes at Geneva.
