DEBBIE LEDOUX
Interim Head of School
Debbie Ledoux, a native Texan, grew up in Houston. She attended Houston Baptist University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Political Science. She then attended Baylor Law School and earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence which laid the foundation for her career in criminal law. Debbie worked as an Assistant District Attorney for both Harris and Bexar counties. Upon the birth of her second child, Debbie quit working full-time. She began serving on several boards including those of the Bexar County Family Justice Center, Providence High School and Women’s Prayer International. Debbie also taught Dialectic to Logic and Rhetoric School students at Geneva.
Debbie is married to Peter Ledoux and they are blessed with five children: Nate (2018 Gonzaga University graduate), Sam (Class of 2017), Sarah (Class of 2020), Hannah (Class of 2021) and Ellie (Class of 2023). Geneva has been part of the Ledoux’s life for well over a decade. Throughout that time, Debbie has served as an art docent, lunchroom volunteer, G.K. Chesterton judge, thesis mentor, room mom, prayer team member and debate coach. The Ledoux family attend Oak Hills Church where Debbie and Peter serve as Prayer Ministers.

Throughout our first year in the area, however, God repeatedly placed people in our path who told us about the outstanding education and community at Geneva. We attended an open house, and it became clear that the reason we were led to Boerne was for Geneva!”

Why she is at Geneva: “Through prayer it became very evident that God wanted me at Geneva. To work in an environment where He is present is delightful beyond words!” Ellen joined the Geneva staff in 2004.

Why she is at Geneva: “The Lord has prepared me and called me to be a school nurse at GSB to help care for students’ physical, mental and spiritual health. Praying for and with students, parents and co-workers is one of the biggest blessings working here.”
Interesting tidbit:”I love to spend time with my family in CO. We hike, bike (Vail Pass Forever!) and explore in the summer and snow ski, tube and sled in the winter. I’m a lover of Chinese food, iced coffee and laying out on a beach. Quality time is my love language. I fight my battles on my knees. Stop by the nurses office to say hi!”

Interesting tidbit: Kelley and her husband are from California and Arizona but met in Canada and stayed for 18 years! They are dual citizens and owned a Christmas tree farm outside of Vancouver, Canada. They love backpacking and teaching their kids survival skills!
