Why she is at Geneva: “I was searching for something different in my career and I wanted a school that had a great sense of community where everyone comes together for a common goal.  Geneva is a great environment that allows teachers to grow in our faith as we coach.  I believe God led me right where I needed to be and Geneva feels like home!”
Interesting tidbit: Madison would like to open her own sports performance facility one day.

GRANT GASTON

Education: Juris Doctorate from Baylor University; Bachelor of Arts in History from Texas A&M University
Family: Wife (Emily) and four kids (Zakk, Daniel, Bridget, and Josh)
Why he is at Geneva: “I’m at Geneva because I share the same mission as Geneva to build men and women of character and integrity who will transform the world for Jesus!”
Interesting tidbit: “I practiced law for 19 years before transferring into full time ministry through coaching.”

AMBER JONAS

Varsity, Competition, and Logic School Cheer Coach
Education: Undergraduate work at the University of Texas at San Antonio
Family: Married to Kevin and has four children: Zackery (Class of 2015), Heather (Class of 2016), Emmalee (Class of 2020) and Corvin (Class of 2021)
Why she is at Geneva: “I coach cheerleading at Geneva because I love the family community within the cheer program. From my cheerleaders to their families to my assistant coaches, I love our team unity and mutual respect and love for one another. Being a coach at Geneva where we can pray together with our teams, keep Christ in the center of everything we do and give Him all the glory is such an amazing blessing and privilege.”

Aamir McCleary

Head Coach Varsity Girls Basketball, Grammar P.E. and Athletics Social Media
Education: Associates Degree – Panola College, Sociology – Southern Illinois University
Family: Married to Erica, Daughter Amira (1 year)
Why he is at Geneva: “I coach to help young people gain confidence in who they are and what they were created to do. I coach because of the love and passion I have for the sport itself and the joy I get in seeing young athletes develop persistence, discipline, work ethic, leadership skills, and respect for others, not only in competition but also in life. Coaching gives me the opportunity to influence, empower and inspire our future leaders to follow their dreams and keep God first and trust in His word.”
Interesting tidbit: Aamir has played at Reagan High School, Panola College and Southern Illinois Univerity. His favorite Bible verse is “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me” Phil 4:14. And he loves a good documentary!

JULIUS McNEAL

Logic School Athletic Director, Head Coach Varsity Boys Basketball
Education: Undergraduate work at Blinn College; Studied Sports Management at The University of Florida
Family: Married his high school sweetheart, Jessica, in 2012; children Brayden (Class of 2033), Addison and Camdyn.  “They keep us on our toes every minute of the day.  We arrived to the San Antonio area in 2016 and it is beginning to feel like home, thanks to the love and support we have received from the families and students at Geneva.”
Why he is at Geneva: “I was given the opportunity to join the Geneva Family and it has been an experience that has shaped my coaching career.  I work everyday to positively impact the student athletes I come in contact with and shape them into the young men and women they are capable of becoming.  I consider it a privilege and a blessing to be a part of the Geneva Family.”
Interesting tidbit: Julius loves to cook during his free time.

Why he is at Geneva: I believe in my heart that God is responsible for me being at Geneva currently in my life.

ROBIN RAMSEY

Family: Children Callie (Class of 2013), Luke (Class of 2015), Seth (Class of 2020) and Annie (Class of 2022)
Why she is at Geneva: “Our family has been a part of the Geneva Community since 2000 and it is a blessing to serve in a school that has been so influential in our lives for many years.”

STEVEN RIPPEE

Education: Bachelor of Science in Education – Lubbock Christian College
Family: Wife Cheri (pathologist), daughter Lindsey (Nurse Practitioner), son Jake (V.A. Veterans Admin) and grandchildren Kade and Kacie
Why he is at Geneva: “I’m here to impact the lives of students and athletes in a Christ-like manner.”
Interesting tidbit: Steve makes chocolate chip cookies from scratch.

BOB ROSENSTIEL

Assistant Coach Varsity Football, Rhetoric Track Head Coach
Education: Bachelor in sociology Eastern Illinois University
Family: Wife Nicole, son Jacob (Class of 2025), daughter Avarie
Why he is at Geneva: We were introduced to Geneva School of Boerne and knew right away that we had to be involved with this community. We loved the values and the classical Christian education.
Interesting tidbit: I played professional football for a few years and then became a Deputy Sheriff where I retired in 2015.

MATTHEW VIRNAU

Strength and Conditioning Coach
Education: Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness – A&M University, Master of Science in Kinesiology
Family: Wife Ashley, son Jhett, daughter Juleen
Why he is at Geneva: “I believe God led me to Geneva to help forge mentally and physically strong young men and women that are capable and confident to go out and spread God’s Word.”
Interesting tidbit: Coach “V” spent 10 years as a Special Operations Combat Controller and was trained as a freefall parachutist, combat diver, and military mountaineer. His favorite Bible verse is “For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:11.
