Family: Married to Beth, son Jaden (Class of 2029), and daughters Clara (Class of 2030), Aniah, Amara, and Jacie
Why he is at Geneva: “My family and I are invested at Geneva because we first and foremost believe in the mission of Geneva as a classical and Christian school. By His grace, God has opened the door for me to have the opportunity to pursue God’s calling of investing in the spiritual development of students through athletics.”

AMBER JONAS

Varsity, Competition, and Logic School Cheer Coach
Education: Undergraduate work at the University of Texas at San Antonio
Family: Married to Kevin and has four children: Zackery (Class of 2015), Heather (Class of 2016), Emmalee (Class of 2020) and Corvin (Class of 2021)
Why she is at Geneva: “I coach cheerleading at Geneva because I love the family community within the cheer program. From my cheerleaders to their families to my assistant coaches, I love our team unity and mutual respect and love for one another. Being a coach at Geneva where we can pray together with our teams, keep Christ in the center of everything we do and give Him all the glory is such an amazing blessing and privilege.”

JULIUS McNEAL

Assistant Athletic Director, Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach
Education: Undergraduate work at Blinn College; Studied Sports Management at The University of Florida
Family: Married his high school sweetheart, Jessica, in 2012; children Brayden (Class of 2033), Addison and Camdyn.  “They keep us on our toes every minute of the day.  We arrived to the San Antonio area in 2016 and it is beginning to feel like home, thanks to the love and support we have received from the families and students at Geneva.”
Why he is at Geneva: “I was given the opportunity to join the Geneva Family and it has been an experience that has shaped my coaching career.  I work everyday to positively impact the student athletes I come in contact with and shape them into the young men and women they are capable of becoming.  I consider it a privilege and a blessing to be a part of the Geneva Family.”
Interesting tidbit:  Julius loves to cook during his free time.

MADISON NAGY

Varsity Volleyball Assistant Coach
Education: Bachelor of Science in Human Science with a minor in exercise and sports science and human development & family studies, teaching certification EC-12 – Texas Tech University
Family: Geneva Family
Why she is at Geneva: “I was searching for something different in my career and I wanted a school that had a great sense of community where everyone comes together for a common goal.  Geneva is a great environment that allows teachers to grow in our faith as we coach.  I believe God led me right where I needed to be and Geneva feels like home!”
Interesting tidbit: Madison would like to open her own sports performance facility one day.

Trent Nesmith

Education: Exercise Science, University of Kansas
Family: Wife Malissa “Missy”, married since 1994, oldest son Caleb 26 years old is a police officer in Lawrence, KS, daughter Cayden is 23 years old and works at Orange Theory Fitness at Dominion and La Cantera and youngest son Canon is 22 years old and a Senior year at the University of Kansas.
Why he is at Geneva: I believe in my heart that God is responsible for me being at Geneva currently in my life.  I spent the last 18 years at a private school in Wichita, KS as the Dean of Students and Athletic Director for the Upper School.
Interesting tidbit:I have two English Bulldogs, “Rollo & Bob”

STEVEN RIPPEE

Varsity Baseball Head Coach, LS Football Assistant Coach
Education: Bachelor of Science in Education – Lubbock Christian College
Family: Wife Cheri (pathologist), daughter Lindsey (Nurse Practitioner), son Jake (V.A. Veterans Admin) and grandchildren Kade and Kacie
Why he is at Geneva: “I’m here to impact the lives of students and athletes in a Christ-like manner.”
Interesting tidbit: Steve makes chocolate chip cookies from scratch.

BOB ROSENSTIEL

Logic School football coach, Varsity football assistant coach
Education: Bachelor in sociology Eastern Illinois University
Family: Wife Nicole, son Jacob(16), daughter Avarie(14)
Why he is at Geneva: We were introduced to Geneva School of Boerne and knew right away that we had to be involved with this community. We loved the values and the classical Christian education.
Interesting tidbit: I played professional football for a few years and then became a Deputy Sheriff where I retired in 2015.

JULIUS SCOTT

Logic School Athletic Director; Football Program Director and Varsity Head Coach; Logic School Softball Head Coach
Education: Bachelor of Science in General Studies – Louisiana State University
Family: Wife Jan, daughter Jacquelyn, son-in-law David Gomez and grandchildren Jaxson and Adelina; and daughter Jordan, son-in-law Rene and granddaughter Isabelle Arces
Why he is at Geneva: “My goal is to communicate to all I encounter that they are loved and valued as a very special child of God.”
Interesting tidbit: Contrary to his demeanor, he loves chick flicks.
