Geneva School of Boerne Logic and Rhetoric students took the National Latin Exam (NLE) on March 6-7. The NLE is a test administered to Latin students around the world and is intended to reinforce and recognize student achievement in the classroom. Certificates, medals and scholarships are awarded to students whose test scores qualify.
In Logic School, the Silver Maxima Cum Laude Award was earned by Grace Covington, Joel Briggs and Anna McPhail. Magna Cum Laude recipients were Lucas Lozada, Peyton Eiland and Liam McClain​. Cum Laude awards were earned by Carolina Nelson, Ava Richards, Graham McClain, John Price, Rhyker Seybold, Carolyn Lutz, Lila Fleming, Brooks Watson, Angelina Dacy, Ruby Svendsen, Katelyn Lindquist, Wesley Izzo, Remi Fikes and Stephen Morse.
In Rhetoric School, Silver Maxima Cum Laude recognition was earned by Chase Doran, Anistyn Dennis and Sam Horton. Magna Cum Laude was earned by Anabelle Larey, Ashley McCollough and Catherine Billings. The Cum Laude Award was earned by Allison Gerch, Mason DeLaune, Lilly Jones and Johnny Hendershot. Awards were also given for Latin Reading Comprehension including a Silver Maxima Cum Laude Award earned by Eli Sorrells and Sofia Ramirez. Magna Cum Laude recipients were Rosie Troyer and Zoe Briggs. A Cum Laude Award was earned by Maya Thomson.
