The Geneva School of Boerne Assistant Band Director Erin Thomas was recently asked to tour with the Fountain City Brass Band this Christmas season—the chance of a lifetime! Thomas is currently the principal cornet of the San Antonio Brass Band and chairman of the board of the San Antonio Brass. She studied music in both Houston and Chicago where she earned three music degrees in Education and trumpet performance. She has also performed in England with the all-woman Athena Brass Band. Thomas is in her eighth year of teaching at Geneva.
