Geneva School of Boerne third-grade students compete in the Julius Caesar Contest each May. Students begin by taking a comprehensive written exam over their year-long studies of Ancient Greece and Rome. The students who earn the top 10 scores earn a place to compete on stage before an audience filled with Grammar School students, teachers, parents and guests in the Julius Caesar Contest. Contestants dress in their finest togas and answer questions about what they learned throughout the school year.
Joseph Burkhart was declared the Julius Caesar Champion in the 22nd annual contest and Josephine Barnett was runner-up. The remaining finalists included: Ava Van Leuven, Marcus Lindquist, Imogen Martin, Riley Mayo, Vivienne McLaughlin, Scottie Stromberg and Easton Weilbacher.
